a starter needs help but its urgent

hello experts,
i am new to php and xamp.i had a source code of couple of pages that were working fine on another system with IIS but i have brought it on my system with xamp,its not working fine...its showing the PHP code in the browser only...the code that is followed between EOD. any help would be really thankful...its urgent...please help

You can place your file inside \htdocs, with apache started. And see if it works...

what I think is that you placed your file in a wrong place.

OK 1 problems

1). you can't have xampp running while your doing IIS it won't work if you want IIS to work you need to disable the Apache/mysql in the CP of xampp

same as the other way if you want xampp to work well, it will work with IIS running. so try that more q please post.
