or at least an individual easy tool for debugging

Try PHP Designer 2005.
You can in this program enable Debug.
http://www.mpsoftware.dk/downloads.php
You need only a PHP .zip Package from php.net. If you click in the main Menu of PHP Designer 2005 on the Play Button, you can configure your debugging. I use this program, and think it's great.

nice but would be great if i could add breakpoints
