Hi
Can somebody tell me how PEAR works? I want to install a package, but I don't know how I should do this. How can I use PEAR package installation tool, and where can I find it?

Thank you for your quick answer.
PEAR is already installed automatic with xampp isn't it? How Do I know if it's installed, I cannot find a pear.bat file. I do find a go-pear.php file however.
Where do I put the commands?

I'm sorry I looked in the wrong directory (C:\xampp\php\pear instead of C:\xampp\php). I found pear.bat and run it.

Sorry, A beginners question, but where do I put these commands to install a package. Could you please tell me?
