Change Htdocs location and security problems

Hi,
I changed my htdocs location, I modified the DocumentRoot path in httpd.conf file, the webserver works well but the problem is that the secutiry don't work. I run lamp security I set the password but when I want to access to web server the system don't require me the password. How I can resolve the problem??
