Parse error HELP Please

Hi there,
I just installed a test billing scripts and this was the error i received when i tried a function in my script once it was successfully installed.

Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_OLD_FUNCTION' or `T_FUNCTION' or `T_VAR' or `'}'' in c:\apachefriends\xampp\php\pear\config.php on line 43
