Good starter book in English

This is ALL new to me: PHP, MySQL, and the use of local servers. I downloaded "Apache Friends" yesterday yet have not yet to install it. I will save the installation and setup for a tutor from the local university. However, is there a good starter book in English that will help me get a fundamental understanding of all of this?
