Changing XAMPP's default page from splash.php

Hi- maybe this is a stupid question...

I can't change XAMPP's default page from htdocs/xampp/splash.php

I have tried lots of things, including looking at apache's httpd.conf file.

Please help me by telling me how XAMPP decides which page to serve first.
