changed documentRoot but still get xampp/splash.php

First up thanks to all you guys and girls who developed xampp, its great! anyway i have changed my documentRoot in http.conf but im still getting the xampp/splash.php screen. any suggestions?

ps I have tried clearing my browser cache and this didnt help

Its working now. I cleared my browser cache and this didnt work so i restarted and this fixed the problem. I can see my home page now.
