Slow Https Connections under apache2 winXp sp2

When I try using https://webaddress the page in question loads up slowly very slowly 3 min plus long load times. But when I do a https://127.0.0.1 it works fine and fast. I have verifed that I have 443 port open and verifed that ssl.conf is lisstening to port 443. Im running windows Xp pro Sp2. Has anyone seen this before. I would apriciate any help
