Dear All,

my current set-up on my two boxes at home is that xammpp (old version) is installed into C:/xampp (c:/xampp/htdocs..etc).

The new version doesn't let me install it like that ...any hints?
Or do I just obverlooked something?

Thanks a lot....
Kindest regards
Jack

Xampp is installed independently from registry or system.

You'd better install D:/xampp or E:/xampp, instead of OS drive.

Download the ZIP or 7ZIP and not the Installer.

With the installer version just select the appropriate drive letter e.g. E: and press the space bar, you can now continue and the root directory will be \xampp

Nope.. that didn't work that way.

But the other option works fine.
