Help! I am new with PHP MySQL XAMPP and stuff like that, but can you tell me why when i install xampp and runn control panel the server is not working, i mean when i write localhost in the browser the page opens ,but like my friends can't see it. How come? I closed my firewall and still.I don't know what to do. If you know tell me!!!

I guess that;

1. your system be problem on database connection.
2. you need to load server onto web as a PWS, via some application like dynip.
