Apache Friends Support Forum

I uninstalled xampp and deleted every last file and restarted my computer. But for some reason after installing wampserver I go onto localhost/ but it the tries to forward me to localhost/xampp/splash.php even though the file isnt there anymore. I have even tried to install apache myself manually but it still forwards me to localhost/xampp/splash.php whenevery I go onto localhost/

How might I fix this?
