Apache Friends Support Forum

I just installed xampp on my windows server 2003 machine...
and apache won't start cause port 80 is already in use by svchost.exe

How do I remove this svchost? or change it's port?

I know I can configure apache to run on another port but that's the last thing I want to do...

is your IIS running?

If yes, you can try to stop it and reload your web page.
