hi i was wondering how i could have a directory/folder accessible from the web but have it prompt for a password before allowing access?

well, i did everything it said to and it sort of worked. it requests the user name and the password. though once i enter everything in, correctly, it just tells me that i am not authorized or i didnt enter my "credientials" correctly

anyone know how i might correct this issue? it works like any other http authentication process but once the information is properly entered it just pops up and asks again.
