Why would you want to connect to ftp if your running http://localhost anyway just goto c:/apachefriends/xampp/htdocs!!!

Hi,

he probably thought he could change chmod via FTP.
But since Windows does not support chmod, he can't ;)

Hi,
Dont mean to hijak the thread, but I click on FileZilla Server Interface.exe
and a log-on comes, the info is as folows:
Server: 127.0.0.1 Port: 21 (No Password)

And I get:

FileZilla Server version 0.9.4e beta

Connecting to server...
Connected, waiting for authentication
Protocol error: Unknown protocol identifier (0x50 0x50 0x48).
Connection to server closed.

Trying to reconnect in 5 seconds

What do you think it is?

Port 21 ist the port for a ftp-client and not for the FileZilla Server Interface.

FileZilla Server Interface use the port 14147.
