Hi

Im A TOTALE newbie at XAMPP....

I like this little peach of soft... BUTTTTTT can anyone tell me how to setup MYSQL when trying to install a CMS system ??? The CMS system im installing gotta have a 1. database ( have createde one ) 2. password for the database ( HUH im in root" ) 3. database name and so on....

If there is a tuta. on this i would be mostly glad YAHOOOOOO... well i know there is a way...

PLSSSSSS im a newbie so in PLAIN DOWN TO EARHT LAUNG. PLSSSSSS

The database that you created what did you name it?

1. When you answer the question above put that name as the database name.

2. root is the database username (if that is what you are using)

3. database password is whatever you set the MySQL Password to when you ran the security settings within XAMPP. if you have not set one it would be best to set one now, go to http://localhost on the left hand side click on security, then click the link below where it shows the status.
