XAMPP package: can not find mysql.h file when VC++ compiles

Hi, I installed XAMPP package and MyODBC 3.51 on windows XP. I write a C++ program to access MySQL via MyODBC. I need to include mysql.h file.



The compiler tell me that can not find the mysql.h file. I searched the installation folders, no inculde file is available. I copied mysql include files from a separated MYSQL 4.1.10 source package for windows. then get compiling error in mysql_com.h file.

any suggestions on where to get the mysql include files? or should I install Apache and mysql separately on WIndows not using XAMPP package ?
