Sort of an odd problem

I am using the latest version of XAMPP for Windows (1.4.12 if I remember correctly). If I go to http://127.0.0.1 I get a blank page; If I got to https://127.0.0.1 I get the XAMPP splash screen. Same situation(s) with using the actual IP on the server....

when I try to go to http://www.my_domain.com I get a blank page and if I use https://my_domain.com I get the security warnings (the one about entering a secure are and one that states "this site contains secure and non-secure information; BUT the site/page that shows up is the webpage that I am trying to get......

wow, https is SSL...
Now I have been struggling for the opposite of what you are trying. I'm able to get http, but https://domain.tld doesn't work. I'll be watching this topic to see how I can get SSL enabled.
