Accessing Localhost via ftp using filezilla.

Hello,

I am attempting to access my server with filezilla. It is not working. I am using localhost and root. I tried FTP and SFTP.

Both fail for different reasons.

I only have Apache and MySQL modules installed and running. It was my understanding that the Filezilla module was not required to connect to local host via FTP.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need a FTP Server component in the XAMPP server running in order to be able to connect with a FTP Client.

yes. XAMPP comes with FileZilla Server component.
