please document upgrade procedure

I'm running XAMPP 5.6.24 2016-11-10:
- Apache v2.4.23 (Win32)
- MariaDB 10.1.16-MariaDB
- PHP 5.6.24
on Windows Server 2012R2 64 bit [Version 6.3.9600]
and I never upgrade so far.

Work well, but as this is very old, it is time to upgrade the package.
I had downloaded the last one:
XAMPP 8.1.10 2022-10-02:
Apache 2.4.54
MariaDB 10.4.24
PHP 8.1.10

what it is the right and safe detailed upgrade procedure?
It is documented somewhere?

I'm not an expert nor an admin, so please be detailed.

note: the whole server is in a Virtual Machine with 4 GB of RAM, and is not exposed to Internet, so no risk
