Hi All,
what is the best (safest) way to clear/truncate/delete logs in MySQL folder? One of my log files has 33GB (!!!) of data!

Hi,
To savely remove the mysql_general Log file while running, you need to disable the general log temporarily:
- Code: Select all
SET GLOBAL general_log = 'OFF';
After deleting the file you can reenable the general log again
- Code: Select all
SET GLOBAL general_log = 'ON';
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!It's like porn for programmers
