when i launch phpmyadmin from the control panel it looks like it is redirecting me to https://localhostphpmyadmin. yes, without the dash. i can manually type it correctly and it works if i type http://localhost/phpmyadmin it doesn't work redirects me to wrong url.

if i click the link from xampp/index.php (which is http://localhost/phpmyadmin), again i get redirected to https://localhostphpmyadmin i have looked through so many conf files but can't seem to find the fix. can someone please help me out?

I seem to have fixed it with several uninstalls/reinstalls not sure what happend with it all
