installation problem with zend optimizer on xampp

Hi can some one tell me how to install zend optimizer 3.3.3 on latest xampp 1.7.2-beta2 for windows

I'm new to xampp earlier i was only using apache server with mysql but for the 1st time trying to work with xampp.
A step by step directory wise installation help will be beneficial for me and other users who might be new to xampp. If anyone can help please help me out.

while installing zend optimizer it asks for php.ini which is not in apache/bin but instead its in php folder.
i 've tried working that out with zend optimizer.
the 2nd thing is zend optimizer installer asks for root web server. as i'm working on localhost on xampp i don't know which folder is to be pathed so i tried c:/xampp/htdocs (i installed xampp c drive)
but afyer doing all this and installation complete when running phpinfo() it can't find zend optimizer installed.

Not possible.
--> A compatible ZendOptimizer for PHP5.3.x does not exists yet.
